Hank Heads Home is a 2D platformer. The game was made during Global Game Jam 2017. The team comprised of Connor Haynes, Ahmed Mian, Ken Wu, and Elliot Imlay who were the programmer, composer, level designer and project manager, and artist respectively. The game was created based on the theme for the game jam, Waves. The game requires the player to get from point A to point B which is marked by some kind of item. In order to get to that point, the player must use waves to manipulate the platforms to get to higher ground.
There is a little bit of story in the game. Hank, a man, is extremely tired after a day of work and must make his way home, but he’s so tired that he takes his unusual route home. What is that route you might ask? Play and find out.
