Forensic Investigation Game (Working Title)
This is an education game. It is a work in progress by Jordan Hallow, and is being made with Unity.
This game will provide basic forensic investigation training through various scenarios for law enforcement personnel. It is being designed for use in both a classroom setting and individually. Scenarios can be the same for a class or randomized to truly challenge and test for understanding. The game controls through a first person view and it is meant to be played like the officer is actually walking through the scene. They will follow all the steps in the forensic investigation process. It will be up to the player to locate every piece of evidence and process it correctly. A competitive score will be given at the end for the player to use to compare to others, and to help a manager have an idea how well the player did without looking at the details of a specific scenario. The game will mainly be targeted for law enforcement officers already in the field to stay familiar with all the steps. It can however be used in police academies, college, high schools, or by any other players that may be interested in learning the details of the forensic investigation process. The game will continually be supported with new scenarios and locations.
